About C3

Neighbors preparing to lead.

A private club where Casa Grande residents learn how local decisions are made, practice speaking up, and prepare to serve.

Why we exist

Local decisions shape daily life.

City councils, school boards, and other public bodies decide things that affect us for years: our schools, city planning, infrastructure, opportunities for residents and businesses, and care for neighbors facing homelessness or hardship.

We bring people together to learn how those decisions are made, follow the issues, practice public speaking, and build the knowledge and confidence to take on public responsibility, including elected and appointed positions.

What we believe

A heart for God, a heart for people.

We encourage leaders who listen, understand the issues, weigh the consequences, and care about the whole community: leaders whose integrity, compassion, humility, and willingness to serve show in how they work.

How we operate

Private club

Membership is by application or official invitation only.

Faith-grounded

Not affiliated with or operated by any church.

Education, not activism

We teach how local government works and help people feel ready to serve. We aren't a political party, campaign, or activist group, and we don't endorse candidates or fund campaigns.

Free, volunteer-taught

Teaching and mentoring are provided by volunteers at no cost.

Your level of involvement

No one is required to run for office or take a course.

Independent judgment

Members in public office don't discuss matters before their own board at our meetings.

What's on this site

The long view

This is a long-term undertaking. Early wins look like a dependable team, useful meetings, a member who speaks confidently in public for the first time, or a neighbor prepared for public service. The lasting measure is the quality of leadership and the good it brings to Casa Grande.
